Pineider's Honeycomb fountain pen features a resin body and cap on this limited edition pen.  The revolutionary hexagonal cutout design is successful thanks to a small inner cap to keep the nib from drying out. Each pen is ornamented with a quill-shaped clip, and Pineider's "soft touch magnetic lock" cap system.
 
The fountain pen uses a European standard cartridge/converter fill system, and is outfitted with a 14kt rose gold nib. The nib is flexible and allows for creation of line width variation in writing. Only 888 of these limited edition pens were produced, and each pen is individually numbered.
 
Following the world trend for flexible nibs, this brand new quill nib is described by Pineider as hyperflex with an excellent memory. The project was made to create a nib for daily writing and not for calligraphy whose performance are quite different. The purpose of the new nib is clear: just writing pleasure for everybody, also for beginners. Remember that the nib is the extension of the hand and does not need any pressure to write.
